I enjoy listening to your podcast. I think an important omission in today’s talk was the reputation problem priests have from the recent (maybe still ongoing) scandals of abuse in the Church. As a Catholic parent of this would be one of the issues I’d be concerned about if my son wanted to join priesthood. One the potential for abuse or sexual misconduct in seminaries and how to repair the damage done so that this reputation doesn’t hang over future priests.
