   Hi guys,
   You all are looking good and this is a needed podcast as I am personally guilty of pulling out a standalone sentence or verse from the Bible. One that makes a statement of faith and expresses a truth but may very well be taken out of context which is a biblical danger that you rightfully should make all of us aware of.

   Never heard the quote athletes use. That was interesting to learn! I have never misused any of the quotes that were quoted in the podcast. For one thing I haven’t ever quoted that money is the root of all evil. I agree that these passages should not have been taken out of context. Yes, it is the love of money that is the root of all evil not money itself. The most quoted verse about ‘judge not lest you be judged’ I have never pulled out of context either.

   RD you are so right so many of us have a relationship with Jesus because He is always there through our prayers. God was there for me in a very loving sense when I needed Him and no-one else could help me. I needed God’s intervention. I needed His mercy and his compassion and I got it. Proof that God cares about us comes from prayers and, for me, the fact that we each have a Guardian Angel to guide and protect us.

   Ryan Scheel I get as worked up as you about the poaching preachers, and/or evangelists, who prey on their flock and have taken millions of dollars in donations and spent them on themselves – on mansions, fleets of planes, fleets of yachts, etc. They are parasites and predators on humanity. They are evil and disgusting. There are people throwing in their household budget money to keep them filthy rich at the expense of themselves. Their material, not spiritual, message is one of greed and selfishness. Their message is not that of Christ.

   I did know that the three popular examples of quotes or verses from the Bible that are not in the Bible. Good examples Ryan Scheel!

   (Scary thoughts – clones of Scheel, Pagano, Dellacrosse or even myself! YIPES!) Take care guys, and yes, I pray for the souls in Purgatory daily as I do the rosary with Keith Nester and his Rosary Crew. They are a loving community of prayer warriors.

   Philippians 4:13 was first popularized by Norman Vincent Peale in The Power of Positive Thinking. Originally intended to defeat negative thinking. The message is balanced by stressing importance of “acceptance of God’s will”.

   I wish all of you would keep the talk clean and less goofing and joking around. Also, the music needs to be changed. Sounds more like a Rock band in a horror show. And for heaven’s sake, bobble heads? Really? Can we at least get serious on religious objects?
