I tuned in since I anticipate needing to explain our traditions to a non Christian guest who will be visiting with our adult son and I had no history on the Easter bunny delivering baskets to children. Glad to see that you are taking on educating people about the Tridduum.
Do you edit and cut pieces from the podcasts? Around the 8 min mark of Episode 32 Father imagines Ryan sitting cross legged wearing a “ wife beater “ and Ryan Dellacroix asks “Are you gay?”. What do you both mean by these comments?
I’m really disappointed that I can’t recommend episode this to anyone.
He actually says “are you okay?” Not “are you gay?” My bigger issue is with the term “wife beater” and sitting “Indian style” these are both terrible cultural stereotypes that have no place among educators of the faith. Boys, c’mon. You know better than this.
Please Excuse the misspelling of Dellacrosse!
Thank you. Have a blessed Holy Week. I really enjoyed today’s podcast. Enjoyed Passion Sunday at Resurrection this year.
I found this episode excellent. The explanations of Easter traditions as well as covering the Holy week happenings was great. I now have so many stories I can use to explain what we are all about as Christians. Thanks guys.
I would love it if Ryan showed us how to make crosses out of the palms.
Perhaps I missed it (I listen at work), but aren’t Easter eggs also associated with Mary Magdalene? Are those stories erroneous? I didn’t hear that mentioned in the podcast so thought I would ask. Keep up the entertaining work!
Happy Easter guys!
Oh my gosh!! Thank you so much for debunking that!!!!! Yay!!!!
As always, another great episode!
