I loved this podcast. The topics you are choosing are very interesting. Some information I knew, but you provided details that I was not aware of. I appreciate that you toned down the laughter but still kept it light. Great job. God bless all of you.
I find your introductory music, your childish banter and irreverent comments offensive.
This kind of desperate attempt to be “cool” and relevant to this debased modernist world is what has alliwed Catholicism to degenerate to the degree that it has today.
Grow up.
TG lighten up and stop being such a snowflake. It’s refreshing to see younger men, and a younger priest enjoying themselves while discussing things about the Catholic faith and Church. It shows that Catholicism can be fun, instead of a bunch of old white men sitting around and not smiling about anything. The intro music is perfect – it appeals to younger generations, the future of the church, and the dialogue between Ryan, Ryan, and Fr. Rich is informative and light-hearted.
It’s time to remove the pole from your arse and grow a sense of humor and some thicker skin. Or on the other hand, you could go back under your bridge with your billy-goat and listen to music of monks chanting.
Brian, you’re not exactly setting a good example.
“Stop being such a snowflake.”
“Bunch of old white men.” (Can’t go without complaining about white men.)
“Remove the pole from your arse.”
“Go back under your bridge with your billy-goat.”
Catholic men should grow up and be examples of what manliness is supposed to be. We need to put an end to this perpetual childhood.
1 Corinthians 13:11
When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I gave up childish ways.
I came out of the Catholic Church I gave my life to Christ 35 years ago, I study the word everyday not to offend anybody after studying the Bible I found myself from what the church was teaching was not in line with the Bible
Hi guys,
Interesting podcast and I enjoy how much you guys love your faith and enjoy sharing. That said, Ryan Scheel please stop saying YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW, etc. ad infinitum and ad nauseum. You are too forceful a personality, and intelligent a guy to be doing this constantly and annoyingly. Ryan Della Crosse is prone to over usage of this phrase as well. Mercy! Mercy! Mercy on your listening audience, please!! Padre Pagano is occasionally guilty of falling into this poor speech pattern too on occasion but nowhere near as much. It’s like a bad habit and/or nerves.
On a more important note, you pick the greatest topics for your podcasts. I love having our own Catholic talk show. Its time has come. Maybe the Holy Spirit encouraged all three of you in this.
I never had a chance to visit Vatican City other than through TV documentaries. You guys are so lucky. You are so blessed.
Ryan Scheel that is so interesting about finding Peter’s bones! What twelve apostles encircle the top of the Basilica in statue form? I know Peter and Paul have their own statues in the square so there not up there but heard that St. John the Baptist is up there but who else? Is Judas up there? Or Mattias?
Thank you guys seriously and sincerely for great podcasts!
God bless us all!
Hi guys,
I apologize for my typo in previous message. What I meant to say is that I know Peter and Paul have their own statues in the square, and they are not up on top of the Basilica, but I heard that St. John the Baptist is up there but who else? Judas? Mattias? Supposedly there are 11 apostles up there with Jesus.
Thanks!! I tried to ‘google’ this information and got nowhere.
