In the same vaine, Look up when Jesus emerges from the crowd of dissenters and helps Ghost Rider ward off Satan.

Also it came to mind that in the X-Men movie with Night Crawler he is holding a Rosary and reciting Psalm 23.

    Cool stuff! Thanks guys.

  3. Aaron Levin says:

Ok, so I’m a Ghost Rider fan…. probably the only one.
In the movie Spirit of Vengeance, Johnny Blaze receives Communion from a priest (Idris Elba) and his curse is removed.

    1. Nancy Janzen says:

      I am a Ghostrider fan

  4. Leann says:

How could you possibly forget Hellboy????? He is the son of the devil who is rescued and raised by a Catholic scientist. He wears a rosary on his arm or belt as a constant reminder of who he now is. It’s his adopted father’s saving him and converting him that makes him the hero he grows into. Definitely my favorite Catholic superhero!

    1. Gerard Turner says:

Marvel & Dc. Hellboy is published by Dark horse

The punisher is my most favorite Netflix series ever. I didn’t know he is Catholic! I am ordering the punisher comcis now (:

  7. Danny says:

Great episode! Very timely, too. Just this week I stumbled across a page of religious comics from the golden age and there are quite a lot of Catholic ones. Do a Google search for Comic Book Plus Religious and it should take you there.

  8. Michele says:

This is amazing! I had no idea and it actually was a good conversation starter with some co workers and myself. Now I’m going to watch the daredevil series on Netflix.

  9. Kristopher says:

Very cool, great episode. It’s fascinating to see the faith in so many places I hadn’t before. I’d love to see a Marvel series on the Saints now that would be worth collecting haha.

  10. Cristian says:

During 1995 to 2000 DC published Preacher. During the 80’s we had Evangeline, the comic book about a spy nun. In the 90’s we had Avengeline, a fallen angel. So, maybe we can keep going with another comic book show.

  11. Ugo says:

    You forgot DC’s Blue Devil

  12. Bridget says:

I (57) blessed a young man’s home (21) with my Mom (84). He was obvious a collector of some vintage superhero art on his walls which mom thought should be all taken down and burned and were anti Catholic at best – Satanic at worst. She was actually quite rude, no matter how I tried to keep her focused on the BLESSING we had come to give this young man. Is there any thing wrong with his collection? Spider-Man/Superman the Hulk…
