    Hi guys,
You now stare at the monitor during the entire time the podcast is on Ryan Dellacrosse. Are you looking at yourself or what in heck are you looking at? Are you fascinated by what Howie is doing behind the scenes? Plus you never stop fondling your hair growth. I often see Scheel looking over at you when you are distracted. I am surprised he hasn’t been on your case about it.

As far as the podcast it was an interesting one and if you believe in predestination then Judas was supposed to betray Jesus. If you believe in free will he had a choice and went for the money which we know didn’t make him happy. Ryan Scheel says there is a theory that Judas wanted to push the envelope and have Jesus rise up against the Romans which is plausible. I have to wonder where he got the guts to betray someone who obviously had super powers and/or was the son of God. Why did he mess with him at all? Considering the miracles he was shown I would be more afraid of Jesus than the Romans.

Then there is the friendship aspect. Judas knew how brutal the Romans were in their subjugation of the Jews and all those under the rule of the empire. He was that cruel and cold that he didn’t care about what would happen to Jesus? Maybe he really didn’t think it would come to that. Or, was he so very jealous of Jesus that he wanted him removed and maybe he had ambitions to be leader of the disciples? I don’t think that theory was ever mentioned.

Thank you for another really good show. I am going to check out a couple of your earlier shows as they are now classics.

A good effort. Let’s come into the 21 century and realize that the Church gives an individual a benefit of doubt if a serious breakdown in reality occurs resulting in suicidal behavior. A mental breakdown can absolve the 3rd necessary requirement for mortal sin to occur. Thus why the church today gives suicidal death the benefit of a Catholic Christian burial. Judge not fellows.

  3. Watched this episode several times and learned more about Judas and why he did what he did. I had never heard this much about his life and why he committed the ultimate betrayal. If he had gone to Jesus and sincerely asked for forgiveness would Jesus have forgiven him? Maureenseward49@gmail.com
