Father Rich, we just got the notice that Bishop-elect Pohlmeier is headed your way to the Diocese of St. Augustine. He is a wonderful priest and I believe he will be a great gift to y’all. DOLR will miss him! Praying for you all in your transition.

Father Richard,
You had a 1st class relic of Pope John Paul II on the show. Since he and Mother Teresa have been guiding lights in my life you raised hope in me that it might possible for me to obtain similar relics of both. Could you direct me where and how to do so?
Thank you,
Dan
Hi guys,
I couldn’t even watch the episode. I think the practice of relics sounds heathen and what does that say about the resurrection of bodies at the end time? The resurrection of body parts from all over the world is more like it and that just doesn’t make any sense.
I had the opportunity this winter to attend a presentation of the Treasures of the Church with Father Carins Martins, CC. I was able to view, venerate, and kiss the reliquaries of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd class reliquaries of so many Saints, i.e., St. Thomas More, Mother Theresa, JP II, Maximillian Kolbe, Catherine of Sienna, St. Therese of Liseux, St. Faustina. There was a thorn from the Crown of Thorns, a piece of the manger, the Holy Cross, Mary’s veil, St. Joseph’s garment. I could go on and on. I believe there were over 150 relics. If you touched your rosary to each relic – your rosary becomes a third-class relic. He spoke of St. Maria Goretti and his speech was so inspiring. Fr. Carlos is commissioned by the Pope to provide this unique privilege to his Holy Catholic Church. If you attended his presentation, went to confession, and received the Holy Eucharist within 2 weeks of the presentation, you received a plenary indulgence. You can also purchase a video of the presentation and if you watch it and meet the requirements, you may receive as many plenary indulgences as you want or need.
I urge you to go to http://www.treasuresofthechurch.com to learn more. It was a life-changing event for me. I spent two hours on my knees, crying with joy being in the presence of these relics and the saints themselves.
God bless Fr. Pagano, Ryan, and Ryan. I find your shows informative and joyful. Please know you are in my daily prayers.
